ASO is proud to congratulate our very own Aron Weldehirit on his successful completion of his BA in business administration majoring in finance from IDC Herzliya! Aron, a co-founder, and part of ASO’s original cohort of students, currently serves as the manager of finance for the ASO team. Aron is continuing his studies and pursuing his Master’s in Business Administration at IDC Herzliya.

Aron was born and raised in Biet-tsion, Eritrea. In 2008, fearing the dictatorship and oppressive regime, Aron fled Eritrea. After traveling through Sudan and Egypt, Aron found his way to Israel and spent his initial years in the country working as a cook in a restaurant in Tel Aviv. Aron now lives in Herzliya and is one of ASO’s co-founders and initial students. Though Aron has no legal status in Israel and is still living on a two-month work visa, he is working hard to further his education and that of others in the asylum-seeking community. We are so excited for your successes today and for continued success in the future!
