We come from fourteen countries: Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC),
Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Malawi, Nigeria, Sierra Leone,
Somalia, South Sudan, and Sudan-Darfur.
We are men and women, singles and those with families, aged 18 and older, studying
full-time for three to four years to earn a bachelor’s degree at one of nine Israeli colleges:
Academic College of Netanya, Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Afeka College of
Engineering, Ben Gurion University, College of Law and Business in Ramat Gan, Haifa
University, Holon College for Technology, John Bryce, Open University in Jerusalem,
Open University in Tel Aviv, Peres Academic Center, Sapir Academic College in
Ashkelon, Seminar Hakibbutzim, Riechman University, Technion- Israel Institute of
Technology, Tel Aviv University, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and The Israeli
Academic College in Ramat Gan. To earn a master’s degree, we study additional years.
